Governor-General prepares for Broken Hill trip

Governor-General Quentin Bryce is arriving in Broken Hill tomorrow as part of her first official tour since being sworn in.

The tour started yesterday in Bourke - over 10 days Ms Bryce will also visit Menindee, Mildura, Goolwa and Adelaide to learn more about the Murray-Darling region.

Ms Bryce's schedule in Broken Hill includes visits to the Royal Flying Doctor base and the Thankakali Arts Centre.

She will also travel to Menindee to tour the lake system.
