Police tally festival fall-out

Posted October 6, 2008 09:33:00

Police say the majority of the 36,000 patrons at yesterday's Park Life music festival in Sydney were well-behaved, despite three people being arrested on drug charges.

Forty-seven people were evicted from Moore Park for alcohol, ticketing and drug possession offences.

Three men were arrested and charged with drug offences, while another 22 were issued with court attendance notices. Ten others received cautions for cannabis possession.

Police say they also found nine unclaimed drug stashes and booked one person from jumping over a security fence.

General duties police, drug sniffing dogs, mounted police and plain clothes officers were on site to patrol the festival.
