Quad bike stolen in motorcycle club ram-raid

Posted October 6, 2008 15:00:00

Darwin police say thieves ram-raided a Northern Territory motorcycle club in Darwin early this morning.

Darwin Watch Commander Craig Ryan says a car was used by thieves to smash through the rear roller door of the club in Pinelands.

He says a blue quad bike was stolen.

"Police are still there examining the scene at the moment but any member of the public who sees a blue Yamaha, a Grizzly quad bike, we'd ask them to call the police immediately," he said.

"It's a more of an aggressive off-road racing kind of quad bike."
