Posted October 7, 2008 10:38:00

A 25-year-old Leederville man has been charged with drug and fraud offences after police were called when he was robbed in Burswood overnight.

The man and a 25-year-old woman had their bags stolen by three men as they walked to the Burswood train station from a nearby chemist last night, about 11pm.

However, when Kensington police were called they discovered the victim had outstanding warrants and he was arrested on drug possession, theft and forgery charges.

He will appear in the Perth Magistrate's Court on Friday.
