Four injured in Chum Creek crash

Four people have been badly injured in a head-on crash at Chum Creek, north-east of Melbourne.

Police say a car crossed the centre line on Chum Creek Road and hit a ute early this morning.

The 49-year-old driver of the utility was critically injured.

Three young women in the back of the car were taken to hospital in a serious condition.

Police are interviewing the 18-year-old driver.
