Posted October 8, 2008 14:27:00

A 22-year-old soldier has been committed to stand trial on rape charges.

The man appeared this morning in the Toowoomba Magistrates Court, in southern Queensland, and will face trial in the District Court.

The charges were laid after an alleged incident at the Carbarlah Army Barracks on the Darling Downs in June.
