The Riverland division of Anglican Community Care in South Australia has won a Margaret Tobin Award for Excellence in Mental Health.
The organisation has won the category five Aboriginal award for its 'Opening Doors' program, which assists young Aboriginal people between the ages of 15 and 25 years who are at risk of being homeless.
The regional manager of Anglican Community Care, Kirsty Barnett, says the organisation is honoured to win the award, but she credits its success to the young people who have worked hard to achieve a better life.
