Some of the 92 workers who will lose their jobs when a car parts manufacturer in Euroa, in north-east Victoria, closes, have been offered new jobs.

Euroa's biggest employer, Teson Trims, will close tomorrow after going into voluntary administration last month.

A meeting will be held this afternoon for workers to discuss their employment and training options.

Strathbogie Shire Mayor Greg Carlson says some workers have already been offered alternative employment in the region.

"I don't have any specifics, but certainly some people have been offered employment," he said.

"I think that it will take a considerable amount of time, months obviously rather than weeks, but I'm confident that we can make good headway over the medium term, in terms of accessing or providing people with the opportunity to seek employment."
