Thousands of Tasmanians have turned out for this year's Launceston Show.

Organisers are hoping to break attendance records.

The three day event got underway this morning and show goers have been streaming through the gates ever since.

Sideshow ally is as popular as ever, with patrons getting their high flying thrills.

Horses are also back on the program after last year's equine influenza outbreak, and a team of working draught horses is also a big hit.
