Catchpole fronts Sydney court

Posted October 14, 2008 11:41:00

Former rugby union player Mark Catchpole has appeared before a Sydney court in relation to drug and firearms charges brought against him in April.

The 40-year-old son of rugby great Ken Catchpole was charged with several offences after police allegedly found methylamphetamines and a pill press at his northern beaches home.

The public prosecutor said they were still waiting for affidavits on a proceeds of crime charge and asked for the matter to be adjourned for another month.

Chief magistrate Graeme Henson said the case had been running for six months and justice delayed was justice denied.
