Posted October 14, 2008 14:33:00

The Health Department is investigating how it can fast-track the upgrade of the Kalgoorlie Regional Hospital.

Health Minister Kim Hames says he will soon travel to Kalgoorlie-Boulder to discuss the hospital plan with local MP John Bowler.

It is still not known whether the project will be funded under the Royalties for Regions scheme.
