The most expensive house ever listed for sale in Kalgoorlie-Boulder has been taken off the market.

The Hampton Heights villa was put up for sale in March for over $2 million.

The agent in charge of the property says the owner knocked back a significant offer, before deciding to withdraw it from the market.

New figures from the Real Estate Institute show property prices in Kalgoorlie-Boulder have dropped 6 per cent over the past three months.
