Cobram man arrested in ecstasy seizure

Posted November 7, 2008 12:18:00

Police have seized a significant number of ecstasy tablets from a Goulburn Valley property.

Officers raided a Cobram house about 9:00am and seized the drugs.

A 22-year-old man from Cobram has been charged with trafficking cannabis and ecstasy.

He has been released on bail and will face court again in January.

Detective Senior Constable, Matt Prestage says the raid is the culmination of a police investigation.

"It's a result of an investigation we've had going for a little while and its just ticking along slowly," he said.
