Pair to face court over Gold Coast bashing

Two men are due to face court today charged with grievous bodily harm over an incident on the Gold Coast.
Police allege the pair assaulted a 48-year-old man at Labrador yesterday.
The man was treated for injuries to his face, head and arm.
Police are also hunting for a man who robbed a security guard at Burleigh Heads yesterday afternoon.
The man was armed with a syringe - he approached the guard as he got out of his car at a shopping centre just after 5:00pm AEST.
He stole cash and personal items.
