Capitals devastate lowly Lynx

The Canberra Capitals thrashed the lowly Perth Lynx by 35 points in their Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) clash at Perry Lakes on Sunday afternoon.

Marianna Tolo (14), Jessica Bibby (13) and Tracey Beatty (13) led the scoring as the visitors heaped futher misery on the second-from-bottom Lynx with a 91-56 defeat.

Melissa Marsh top scored for the home side with 13 points while Joneatta Brown contributed 10.
