Broome explosion.

Police are tying to contact the families of the dead men.

An investigation is set to resume today into an industrial explosion which killed two men in Broome.

The men were killed yesterday when a pressurised section of the truck they were loading at an industrial property in Broome exploded.

It is understood the men were in their early 50s.

Inspector Phil Clews from the Kimberley District Police Office says one of the men is believed to be from Broome and the other from interstate.

"We have not totally confirmed identification that will still be a process we have to go through, but we believe we may have the details concerning those people," he said.

"We're currently speaking to family or trying to locate family."
