Extra match added to Proteas' tour

Posted December 2, 2008 14:33:00

South Africa will play an extra game against Western Australia at the WACA in the lead-up to the Test series against Australia.

The one-day match was organised after the postponement of the Twenty20 Champions League in India, in which the Warriors were due to take part.

The match is scheduled for December 11.

The Proteas will also play a two-day match against a Western Australian Board XI before the first Test begins on December 17.
