New Blues meet their team-mates

Posted December 3, 2008 13:22:00

Carlton has paraded its four new players selected in last Saturday's AFL national draft.

Chris Yarran, Mitch Robinson, Rhyce O'Keefe and Caleb Tiller will join their Blues team-mates at the club's preseason camp this afternoon.

Yarran was picked at number six in the draft and says he is excited about meeting Chris Judd and Brendan Fevola.

"I was thinking about it the other night, running out onto Princes Park with Chris Judd and Brendan Fevola, it's a pretty amazing combination there," he said.

"Hopefully I get alongside them and have a good couple of games with them."

The 17-year-old played senior football in Western Australia this year and said he is physically ready to play in the AFL.

"I think I am, just playing with the bigger bodies in the WAFL made it a bit easier in the under 18's carnival as well," he said.

"I don't expect too much next year, but whatever comes along comes along."
