Mallala blaze near gas pipeline

Fire crews have tackled a grass fire at Mallala on Adelaide's northern outskirts.

The blaze, near the Mallala-Gawler Road, broke out just before 2:00pm.

More than 60 firefighters tackled the blaze, which burnt 60 hectares of private land.

The fire went close to the Moomba-Adelaide natural gas pipeline.
