Toddler drowns in Kingaroy dam

An 18-month-old boy has drowned in a dam in Queensland's South Burnett region.

Police say the accident happened on a property at Kingaroy around 4:00pm AEST yesterday.

Early investigations indicate the child wandered close to the dam and fell into the water.

Police say his death is not being treated as suspicious.
