Murder accused to face committal hearing

An Ivanhoe man charged with the murder of a woman has made another court appearance by video link.

Damien Charles Bugmy, 27, is alleged to have fatally stabbed a woman in the back at Ivanhoe on June 14 this year.

In Griffith Local Court yesterday, the matter was adjourned until February for a committal hearing.

Bail was not applied for and was formally refused.
