Dragons thrash Hawks in Wollongong

The South Dragons hammered Wollongong by 34 points in their National Basketball League encounter in Wollongong last night.

An unbelievable 23-0 onslaught to begin the second half allowed the Dragons to stitch up a comprehensive 112-78 victory.

Joe Ingles scored 23 points for the visitors, including 18 in the first half.

Mark Worthington contributed 20 and Nick Horvath 14.

Cam Tragardh scored 21 points and Dusty Rychart 16 for the Hawks, who have now lost their past four matches.

The two teams meet again at the Dragons' Hisense Arena on Saturday.
