Tait frustrated by latest injury

Posted December 4, 2008 14:00:00

South Australian fast bowler Shaun Tait hopes to play in next week's one-day match against Tasmania at the Adelaide Oval.

Tait was forced from the field with a leg injury in last night's loss to Queensland at the Gabba.

Tait arrived home with the team late this morning, disappointed at being sidelined again.

"I've had tendonitis in it for a while, it just flared up through the four-day game and then obviously got worse in the one-day game last night," he said.

"[It's a] little bit disappointing coming off in between a game, but hopefully I can get it up for next Wednesday."
