The first day of the 42nd Australian Parliament began with a traditional ceremony by Indigenous elders ahead of tomorrow's formal apology to the Stolen Generations. Representatives of Indigenous communities from around the country were involved in the 'Welcome to Country' ceremony in the Members Hall of Parliament House.
