The central business district of Sydney filled with an estimated 100,000 enthusiastic young pilgrims hoping for a glimpse of the pontiff. For some businesses in the area all the action has been out on the streets and not at the cash register. However, the tourism industry says the benefits from the influx of pilgrims will continue to be felt long after they have returned home.
