Alan Cameron joins Lateline Business

The turmoil in world stock markets has been a difficult time for the Australian Securities Exchange as it has battled the perception its regulatory arm has not been on top of its job. In an attempt to ease concerns that the dual roles of market participant and market regulator are too much for the ASX, the exchange has appointed former ASIC boss Alan Cameron as chairman of its market supervisory board.
