Govt says the Murray's Lower Lakes can't be saved

The Lower Lakes of the Murray River are beyond help according to federal Water Minister Penny Wong. She has been criticised by the Opposition but conservationists say there is enough water to save the Lower Lakes but the Government needs to act now.
