GE's top man in Australia says the American conglomerate is still looking for investment opportunities in the finance sector, despite the global meltdown. Steve Sargent says GE has been the most profitable financial services company in 2008, but he refused to be drawn on the company's plans in Australia and the future of its investment in Wizard home loans.
