Strict security overshadows Games success

The Olympics enters its final week with the host nation romping away on the medal count, but drawing flak in other quarters. Over bearing security and press freedom have dogged the organisers. But there is also growing questions about whether the Games was worth all the economic and social pain China has had to endure to stage the event.
