Marine life in the gulf face new threat

Endangered marine life in the Gulf of Carpentaria are battling yet another threat to their survival, ghostnets. Ghostnets are fishing nets that have been disposed of either deliberately or accidentally, often by foreign boats, fishing in the seas north of the gulf.
