Unions mount a concerted attack on Industry Minister Theo Theophanous
A State Government Minister has been accused of letting Victorian workers down by his performance in his portfolio. The Minister responsible for manufacturing, Theo Theophanous, has been lambasted by a senior union official angry at the State Government's inactivity in the industry. His sentiments have been backed by other union leaders who say the Victorian Government has dropped the ball on manufacturing.
One union official goes as far as saying Jeff Kennett was more outspoken in defending the industry than the current Labor Government.
