The world record for The Longest Pop Song has been held for more than a decade by Chris Butler's 69 minute, 500+ verse epic The Devil Glitch, and it strikes us at triple j tv with The Doctor that the genre of Ridiculously Long Songs is badly in need of reinvigoration. So this is our bid to shatter the standing record, but we need your help. The Doctor has written the beginning of "Life Goes On", a modular pop song, and we're providing you with the elements here, and a step by step guide, so you can contribute verses and/or choruses to our ever growing effort. Every contribution will make the song just that little bit longer, so together we can smash through the paltry 69 minute barrier and ride off into the sunset.
