Under the hammer is a very beautiful Art Deco figurine made by French sculptor Ferdinand Preiss.

It is in the form of a young female golfer, and is made of carved ivory and bronze, mounted on a polished onyx base. As always with Preiss figures, the details, particularly the facial features, are exquisitely done.

Gordon bid $16,000
Niccole bid $18,000
Adrian bid $20,000.

The hammer fell at $14,000, so Gordon happily claimed his prize.
